Our Story

StopWatch is an undergraduate senior capstone design project out of Stanford's d school. The idea was conceived in response to the murder of George Floyd and has been developed over the course of two quarters.

We believe passionately that police misconduct is out of control and that government has thus far failed to adequately respond to the problem. Our goal is to address police accountability through a technological lens by giving the public the power to hold police accountable.

StopWatch is an idea for a non-profit foundation that provides video streaming services of police interactions. To advance our mission, our goal is to subsidize 500,000 dashcams over five years for members of underrepresented minority communities.
